5. How is the Lace Hair system design?

The lace hair is hand crafted using invisible lace. The individual pieces of 100% Indian Remy Hair is then skilfully hand-tied into the lace and double knotted to prevent shedding.

6. What type of lace is used?

There are two type of lace that is used Swiss and French lace. The Swiss lace is slightly thinner and more fragile; the French lace is more durable and will hold up better over time. Most people opt for the French lace due to its durability. If applied properly both lace will give you the undetectable hairline finish you’re looking for.

7. What colour is the lace?

Most lace hair system is constructed with freestyle (ie: part can be placed anywhere.) The lace allows the colour of the natural scalp to come through. For this reason, you should choose a lace colour closest to the colour of your scalp. The lace choice colours are:

Transparent: For white, off white or cream scalp tones

Light Beige or Beige: For Light Brown scalp or Beige scalp tones

Light Brown: For Light Brown scalp tones

Brown: For Dark Brown scalp tones.

8. What are Knots?

Knots are the tie that holds the hair to the lace. A simple knot is used mainly around the perimeter or the front of the lace hair. This allows the lace hair system to blends more easily into the hairline. Double knots are a bit thicker and can be used along the perimeter, top and back of the system.

The lace hair system after care is vital as the knots should be sealed after washing to extend the life of the system and prevent excessive shedding.

9. What are Bleached Knots?

Bleached knots are the ties that hold the hair to the lace each strand of hair is hand-tied into the lace. Knots are then When these knots are bleached they are made lighter and give a more natural scalp colour appearance (as though the hair is growing out the scalp.) The “Bleached Knots” option is highly recommended for darker hair colours

10. What is Baby Hair?

Baby hair is the fine hair that grows naturally along the hairline. You may choose to order your custom Lace hair with or without this option. The fine baby hair along the hairline gives an even natural look.

11. Can the Lace Hair be ordered in highlighted colours?

You may order your Lace Hair with or without highlighted colours. The amount of highlight can be selected as an option. The highlight colour mix option allows you to select the amount of highlight colour in the hair. You will be asked to select a colour. The base colour is the prominent colour, highlight colours are usually lighter colours. You can order your Lace hair with up to two (2) highlight colours.

12. How is the Lace Hair system applied?

The lace hair is applied with a special adhesive that is safe for human skin. The adhesive product secures the Lace hair along the hairline. The adhesive disappears into lace front and creates the illusion of hair growing directly out the scalp. The adhesive is NOT USED DIRECTLY ON YOUR NATURAL HAIR .Your natural hair is not touch the lace hair system is applies around your hairline.

13. How long will the adhesive hold?

The average hold time is 1-6 weeks. This may vary depending on your skin type-the adhesive may not last for (6) six weeks on oily skin. There are several types of adhesives to choose from. If you exercise regularly or will be swimming in your lace hair you would want a more durable adhesive. We would recommend the Maximum Hold adhesive that provides a 3-6 weeks hold.

14. Can the Lace Hair be worn while swimming or exercising?

Lace Hair can be worn like your natural hair. You can engage in all normal activities including swimming and exercising while wearing your Lace Hair. You should wait 24 hours after application before allowing the hair to become wet.

15. How thick is the Lace Hair?

Density (thickness) is defined as how thick or thin you want your hair to be. The standard and most popular choice is 100% which is Medium Density.

· Light density is 60% thickness of an average head of hair.

· Medium density is considered 100% thickness of an average head of hair

· Heavy density is considered 150% thickness of an average head of hair

16. How long will my lace hair system last?

With proper care and professional maintenance, your Lace Hair system can and should last for at least a year.

17. How long does it takes for the lace hair to be made and delivered?

The stock lace hair is immediate if in stock; always check to make sure this is not sold out.

For custom Lace Hair system made to specification allows 5-6 weeks for delivery. If you need this much quicker then you will be charged extra for express which takes 3-4 weeks.

18.Do you have a colour ring/ chart?

Yes we do have colour ring for you to choose the hair colour you need.

19. Do you have a lace colour ring?

Yes we do have lace colour ring for you to choose your lace scalp colour plus seeing the difference between the French lace and the Swiss Lace, allowing you to chose what lace you want your system made from.
